General Terms and Conditions of Sale

Article 1 — Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to all transactions concluded through the websites operated by JVD Music.

A “Customer” refers to any natural or legal person placing an order with JVD Music through our secure payment platform or by any other accepted payment method.

Article 1bis — Age Restrictions

Age restrictions apply:

• JVD Music accepts customers aged 16 years or older for physical and digital products.

• Customers must be 18 years or older to purchase services such as coaching, workshops, or seminars.

We make reasonable efforts to restrict access to our products and services to minors. Although our content is not of a sensitive nature, it is intended for a mature audience capable of understanding the responsibilities related to educational and professional development.

Any newsletter subscriber not meeting the minimum age requirement (16+) will be removed from our database once identified. Any customer failing to meet these requirements will be refunded and may be required to return the relevant products.

Article 2 — Orders

Any order placed through a website operated by JVD Music implies full and unconditional acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Article 3 — Prices

Prices are indicated in euros (€), including applicable VAT in accordance with Belgian legislation, and excluding shipping and processing costs where applicable.

JVD Music reserves the right to modify prices at any time. However, the price applied to an order will be the one displayed at the time the order is confirmed.

Article 4 — Payment

Payment is due immediately upon ordering, including for pre-orders.

Payments may be made by bank card. Cards issued by banks located outside Belgium must be international payment cards (Visa or Mastercard). American Express is not accepted.

Online payments are processed securely via Stripe. Payment information is encrypted using industry-standard security protocols and cannot be accessed during transmission.

Any guarantees regarding payment system security fall under the responsibility of Stripe and cannot be attributed to JVD Music.

Article 5 — Delivery

Products are delivered to the address provided by the customer at the time of ordering. Customers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their delivery information, especially the postal code.

Risk transfers to the customer once the ordered products leave our premises. In the event of a lost shipment, JVD Music will take reasonable steps to ensure replacement delivery or reimbursement in accordance with the applicable guarantee.

For digital products, delivery is considered completed once access has been granted electronically.

Article 6 — Protection of Personal Data

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU Regulation 2016/679) and applicable Belgian data protection legislation, customers have the right to access, rectify, or request deletion of their personal data.

By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you acknowledge having read our Privacy Policy and consent to the collection and processing of your data.

By providing your email address on one of our websites, you agree to receive emails containing information, updates, and promotional offers related to JVD Music products or partner offers. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included at the bottom of each email.

Our newsletter complies fully with GDPR requirements and Belgian data protection law.

Article 10 — Applicable Law

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale, as well as all related purchase and sale transactions, shall be governed by Belgian law. Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the competent Belgian courts.
